The Sacred Youth Foundation provides the children of today an opportunity to honor and preserve culture through various traditional art forms such as beading, pottery, sand painting, rug weaving, sculpture, jewelry, painting, and basketry.

The event offers a creative outlet for the youth to follow in the path of their ancestors

This non-profit emerged from Dahayoigii “The Strong Ones”, an annual event created by Oreland Joe, Sr. in 2014.

Now in its TENTH year, the event is run by father and son and draws world-class artists as instructors, introducing the traditional art of the Native American culture to 130 children in grades K-12th in a summer camp setting.
